Jacob Major

Hi there! I'm Jacob.

I was exposed to the arts from a young age thanks to awesome parents, but began formally training my freshman year of high school after some encouragement from a mentor. Growing up in a Houston suburb, I was one of very few boys interested in donning tights, so my local dance school offered me free classes in return for my participation in a few recital pas de deux. In addition to studying voice and exploring all styles of dance, I performed in numerous productions in the Greater Houston area and spent my summers training around the country with programs like The Performing Arts Project.

I graduated from Elon University with my BFA in Music Theatre and am now a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association. If I'm not eating (everything in sight), you can probably find me lifting heavy things, learning languages on Duolingo, or searching for the best local coffee shop in NYC.
